Celebrations

Our family likes to have a party when the wind changes direction πŸ™‚ This time we had three reasons to celebrate. First we gathered to honor Tom, host at Party Central, on the occasion of his 54th birthday! I love this picture of him. The lighting is so great! Thanks to Elaine for capturing this.

Tom is wearing a great patriotic shirt lovingly made for him by Renee. She may have found her sewing niche as many people have asked Tom where he got his nifty shirts.

We missed Elaine’s birthday earlier this month so we had to serenade her with the birthday song. Then Renee and Tom surprised us with a little anniversary gift.

Of course the other side says “Angels”! We’ll have to be careful how we walk down the street now so people can read our shirts πŸ™‚ I didn’t take any pictures at the party so had to quiz the family. Who got a shot of our shirts?Β  Guess who got the only shot of the shirts? This guy!

Evan Patrick…the new family historian! He loves to take pictures. High Five to Evan! Six years old, photographer, swimmer, ball player, jokester and second grader.

I really enjoyed this party. I needed the comfort of family…the hugs, the laughs and the memories.

It sounds like you have a wonderful family, Joan. I love the shirts. Evan must be a special little guy. We so enjoy our great-grandchildren. We just don’t get to see them too often. Sometimes I feel like White Lake is one block from the end of the world.

I LOVE the Angel’s shirts! My family are big Angel’s fans, in spite of them breaking our hearts this season! I also love what the shirts say on the back! What a great gift idea! But you are right, you have to get organized and walk so that people can read them, LOL!
