Visiting Reader
The laundry room here at Jim and Mary's RV Park is very nice but very busy. I decided to do just one load of laundry and it's a good thing I did. Another lady had taken up 3 machines for her six loads of laundry. It was good of her to leave one machine free :) While we waited she told me a bit about their 3 month tour from Virginia across the southern U.S. to Washington where they embarked on an Alaskan cruise. A few days ago they returned and are now headed back to Virginia via a northern route. Quite a trip in three months!
We picked up a few groceries and then relaxed outside with books and magazines. What a lovely outdoor day! About 4 PM one of my readers, Beth and her hubby Chris, stopped by for cocktail hour. ...and they brought the fixin's!
We met Beth and Chris at the DataStorm rally a few years ago and have kept in touch via blogs. They are headed to Minnesota from Seattle and stopped here for a few days. They actually saw some of the tourist sites here in Missoula that we haven't yet visited.
We enjoyed wine and bread with dipping sauce that they'd picked up at Good Foods. We had lots of laughs comparing stories that never make it to our blogs :) Thanks for a nice evening guys and safe travels to you!
