Day Off
Change of plans and a day off....that's what happens when you wake up hearing rain on the roof, it's chlly and you have no schedule. So we looked at each other and said, "Should we go today? Nah!" Roll over and snuggle up :)
I'd made some reservations for the trip to Rapid City so after a few phone calls everything was delayed a day, we poured another cup of coffee and relaxed. We really thought we'd leave today and had hooked up the car last night but we just weren't up for a day of rainy driving. Tomorrow through the weekend looks like great weather going east on I-90. But I'll be there will be wind :)
We've been out visiting and shopping every day we've been here so kicking back feels real good.

I know it's been a long time talkin'...life gets in the way. I review your travels from time to time on your blog but as yet, have not posted a comment. 5 years...wow, it looks like you're still doing well and enjoying the experience. Life here is crazy-busy with both family and work. Rachel turned 10 in March and is growing like a weed. She's in 4th grade and still enjoying dance class, choir and volleyball. Ken's doing fine and still with gov't. I of course am still here with AMF and doing fine. Hope all is well with you and your family. Write soon. Love,Char
