It's Done

The Family Calendar for 2008 is done, printed, mailed and delivered! Woohoo! I was looking back and saw that one other year it was mid-January when I finished it. Here's a sample page...

This is the September page and it's all about Evan who will be 3 this year. I've uploaded all the digital Family Calendars to my Picasa website (so family might be interested in seeing them at My Picasa Gallery.)

The calendar photo pages are done in Photoshop Elements. Every year I learn a little more and try something new so it's interesting and fun to do...and a great family tradition. This year Grandson Jim did the cover and one month. I'm pleased to have him helping so the tradition will continue:)

I included pictures from 1977/78 that are from slides I'm scanning. One of these days I'll finish that project ;) In fact, I think I'll get back on track and start scanning some today! Only a few thousand slides to go.

I cooked up some great onion soup in the crockpot last week, hoping that a good dose of vitamin C would help our colds but we're still sneezing, sniffling and coughing. It's an annual thing. The weather is really fine so we can't blame that. Jim was improving but today feels pretty cra**y again. He really seems to have a hard time with colds.

Today maybe I'll think about New Year's resolutions and projects for 2008 and maybe where we'll go this year. That ought to keep me busy!
