Thanksgiving Day

First, Happy Thanksgiving Day to you all!

My list of "thanks' is very long but at the top of the list I'm thankful for our wonderful family and for our good health. If there is one thing we've learned in our fulltiming it's that without good health life is really tough.

Today our family goes over the river and through the hills to Renee and Tom's where we'll all bring our food offerings and sit down for a fabulous feast. One piece of trivia is that we'll dine at a table that belonged to my great grandmother. To Baby Evan that would be seven generations. Wow!

I think there will be 14 of us and the only thing could make it better would be if our Laura and Steve and my parents could be with us also. This will be Evan's first "up to the table" holiday. I wonder if he'll try the feast food or if he'll dump it on the floor and wait for peanut butter and jelly!:)

I hope you enjoy your family, food and fun and please say a special thanks for those who are away from home protecting our freedom.
