Joan on the Road...of Life

Please indulge me one more baby picture then I'll move on. Evan is two weeks old and certainly has learned the difference between Mommy and anyone else. Sometimes at family gatherings we play "pass the baby" too much and then Evan thinks he should be held all the next day....a quick learner. There are so many adults who want to hold him that we need to have one of those ticket taker machines, like at a butcher counter, so we know who's next. As a great grandparent, two generations removed from total responsibility, I can wile away the hours admiring the tiny things he's learning--like how to get his fingers to his mouth. So OK...we'll be moving on soon and I'll get my mind on other things!
