Luxury Site
We're back in KissIMee FL at the KOA which is about 5 years old. Most of the sites are huge and well landscaped. For a private park this is probably the most luxurious we've been in, and that's reflected in the price! We have a brick patio, wrought iron table, wooden love seat by our chimenea and plenty of space. We're on the main road in the park so we get lots of people stopping by and visiting. The ambience here is so different from the Escapees park in Bushnell because there are lots of young families on vacation here during spring break. We look at the huge motorhomes they're driving and wonder where all the money comes from.
The weather has been great 90% of the time and the rainstorms have been pretty awesome. Today is 80ish, sunny and dry. We anticipated lots of humidity and bugs but that hasn't materialized. Maybe that comes later. We've heard that spring is the best time to be here and right now we'd agree.
We are just off Highway 192 which is undergoing major construction so traffic is pretty bad sometimes. Lots of businesses are suffering from being cut off from traffic. The gator below is at the Alligator Motel which probably won't survive and then what will they do with this bit of Americana sculpture?!
