Reconnecting
It's been a long time since I've visited with my cousins Chuck and Sharon. Their Mom was my Dad's sister. Chuck and wife, Marylou, live in Eagle River, WI. Sharon and Larry live in Green Bay. Chuck and I connected on email and he volunteered to make the trip to visit. So glad he did. We had a fun afternoon recalling old times, catching up on family and learning that we're politically on the same side of the aisle!
Chuck recalls sitting on the back fence telling "little moron" jokes which would be extremely politically incorrect to tell today! I remember going to visit his family on Sunday, eating tomato soup and popcorn then watching the Ed Sullivan show. We both had big back yards with trees to climb and a creek to play in. Good memories!
