Family Time
We're back in SoCal getting a dose of family time. We're celebrating the graduation of our grandson, James Douglas Weise, from high school. He'll be going on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, currently planning to study aerospace engineering. Below is Jim and sister, Mary. It's fun to see everyone together after being gone for about 6 months. Seems like there is a whole new family dynamic. The six teenagers are moving into driving and working so I think that gives them a slightly different view of life. They are facing the challenges of planning their own time, paying for car insurance and fitting in fun time.
We were treated to a wonderful graduation party with heaps of food...literally...stacks of barbeque ribs, asparagus spears, baked beans, and asian cole slaw cooked up by the dad of the grad. Mary prepared a beatiful cheese and meat tray and yummy individual cheesecakes; Jan and Jud brought custom beer on tap; Renee and Tom treated us to a sushi tray. No one went home hungry!
