Everyday Stuff

The RV fulltime life sounds exotic and exciting but there are lots of times when it is just plain living...no frills and fun...just stuff that needs to be done. This past week has been doctor and dental checkups and fixups on the motorhome. Also we checked in at our storage unit and decided we're not ready to get rid of all the stuff there...so we're commited to another year of storage rental.

The toilet started leaking again (clean, incoming water leak at the valve) and since this is the 3rd!!! time we decided to get a new one installed. Very fortunately, the manufacturer has put out a new design that exactly fits on the old spot, so Jim was able to easily install it and so far it's working fine.

The air mattress replacement pump arrived so that needs to be installed...tear the bed apart and restring the hose! Needs to be done though because we don't want to wind up sleeping on an air mattress with no air! (Note: since getting the SelectComfort mattress our back problems have disappeared.)

Extra seat belts need to be installed on the dinette and the extra chairs so we can have more than two people belted in when we're traveling. Next week we're taking 2 grandkids with us so this needs to be done now.

So Jim has his work cut out for him! Wonder what I can do besides sit in the sun?
